PODIATECH is a SIDAS group brand.
Since the company was founded, SIDAS has drawn its strength from four core values: innovation, passion, performance and commitment.

THE STORY OF SIDAS
1975 > SIDAS is set up by three ski instructors:
• Loïc David
• Jacques Martin
• Gabriel Pellicot
Their personalities and their convictions help to position SIDAS within the buoyant ski market, developing and marketing a foot-comfort solution for skiing: an insole custom moulded to one's individual foot shape.
The SIDAS business continues to grow internationally (with emphasis on the United States and Japan).
1985 > Driven by Patrick Boismal, SIDAS enters a new market: medical appliances
• Birth of the Podiatech brand.
• The provision of therapeutic solutions for registered podiatry professionals.
2003 > 2011 saw a leveraged management buy-out of SIDAS by its three executive officers:
• Jean-Pierre Delangle • Thierry Ravillion • François Duvillard
Their vision of the company's future has led them to draw up an ambitious plan for growth, incorporating new skills and entering new markets on all continents.
